Step 1: Enter your postcode

First thing’s first – Supply us with your postcode so we know where we will be delivering your skip to!

Step 2: Select your waste type

We have 4 different types of skip bins depending on your waste needs:

General waste:

Includes light domestic waste, office waste, white goods and garden waste. However, this type of skip is not suitable for sand, soil and other rubble.

Mixed Heavy waste:

Suitable for large, bulky, or heavy items, the Mixed Heavy waste category includes: builders waste, white goods and other furniture, timber, metal such as steel, bricks, tiles, concrete and sand.

Green waste:

Perfect for the green-fingered patron, a Green Waste bin is suitable for most types of garden waste including: grass clippings, leaves, tree trimmings and small branches, weeds and tree bark, trunks up to a maximum diameter of 300mm. These bins can ONLY accept Green waste but do have a couple of exceptions including tree trunks and stumps that are over 300mm in diameter, as well as rubble, soil and sand.

Rubble and Soil:

The only type of waste this skip bin is suitable for is rubble and soil waste such as bricks, tiles, pavers, sand or limestone etc. This type of bin can NOT be used for any general waste, green or garden waste.

What can NEVER go in any of our skip bins:

Here at National Skip Bins we have worked hard to ensure that we have got as many of your waste needs covered as possible. Nonetheless, there are some types of waste which can never go in any of our skip bins, regardless of the type of waste chosen. Of these restrictions, the most important is that NO ASBESTOS can ever go in one of our skip bins. Likewise, other hazardous materials such as chemicals or drums, tyres or other car parts, batteries, flammable liquids, oils or paint and gas bottles are not permitted in our skip bins. Finally, no food waste, food products or dead animals can be placed in any of our skips.

Step 3: Select your bin size

Once you’ve decided what type of waste you need to get rid of, you need to choose the size of your bin. Our skip bins are available in 6 convenient sizes – 2m3, 3m3, 4m3, 6m3, 8m3, and 10m3 – each with an access door for wheelbarrow use, designed to suit all of your waste disposal requirements.

Step 4: Choose your dates

Once you know what size bin you need and what waste you’ll be getting rid of, just decide your delivery and collection dates.

Step 5: Summary and payment

You’re now ready to go! We’ll show you a summary of your order and you can enter your details for processing the payment
